Joys and sadness could be a danger
16/06/2007 20:23 Filed in: Encouragement
Joys and sadness are part of our lives and wise
people manage both with the same approach. Without
over react ones keep thinking and acting upon the
assurance that more important than what happened is
the way to react to it. Joys and sadness could be a
danger. Be wise. Seeks God's wisdom.
Sorrows and joys alike are temporary
16/06/2007 20:01 Filed in: Quotations
Sorrows and joys alike are temporary. In a moment
all may be changed. Therefore to one who judges
rightly, earthly grief is not over grievous and
earthly joy no over joyous.

Big Daddy Weave
I come on my knees
To lay down before you
Bringing all that I am
Longing only to know you
Seeking your face
And not only your hand
I find you embracing me
Just as I am
And I lift these songs
To you and you alone
As I sing to you
In my praises make your home
Chorus:
To my audience of one
You are Father, and you are Son
As your spirit flows free,
Let it find within me
A heart that beats to praise you.
And now just to know you more
Has become my great reward
To see your kingdom come
And your will be done
I only desire to be yours,
Lord
So what could I bring
To honor your majesty
What song could I sing
That would move the heart of royalty
And all that I have
Is the life that you’ve given me
So Lord let me live for you
My song with humility
And Lord as the love song
Of my life is played
I have one desire
To bring glory to your name

what a thought to start the day!
15/06/2007 20:02 Filed in: Encouragement
The alarm clock goes off and appears that I sleep
just a couple of hours. Yes, hearing the buzz I
would like to remain in bed. Suddenly that good
thinking come alive 'A new day! Made to praise the
LORD, to live in plentiful way, to love, create and
help!’ What a thought to start the day! I’ll sing
glory to the Lamb of God, the LORD Jesus Christ!

Marvin Sapp
I sing my Song to you, I give you praise
I lift my hands to You, my voice I raise
because of who you are
I am who I am
We sing glory to the Lamb
You saved my soul from sin, answered my prayer
Dressed me in righteousness, none can compare
Showed me the path to walk, you showed me your plan
We sing glory to the Lamb
Chorus:
There's one name above, earth and the sky
Lord Jehovah reigns, rules on high
We bow down before You, Great I Am
We Sing Glory to The Lamb
You are the only one, who gave me hope
Took all the broken dreams and made them whole
You found the best in me and showed me who I am
We sing glory to the Lamb
There is no other name, no, that I can call
You showed me that you are my all in all
Your strength empowers me to be what I can
We Sing glory to the Lamb
Bridge:
Lamb of God, holy Lamb of God
You are the great I am
You're the King of Kings
You're the Lord of lords
and we move at your command
Sing halleluyah to risen king
Sing halleluyah let his praises ring
Sing halleluyah to the great I am
We sing glory to the lamb

When friends are about to part from one another,
they are far kinder than ever they have been
before. The tricky is to be kinder today with those
who are not parting or giving you trouble. If in
your powers today, bless. As God's candle shine,
light this word.

It Is Well with My Soul (Click to hear on youtube)
Text: Horatio G. Spafford Music: Philip P. Bliss
By The Issacs
1. When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
when sorrows like sea billows roll;
whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
Refrain:
It is well with my soul,
it is well, it is well with my soul.
2. Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
let this blest assurance control,
that Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
and hath shed his own blood for my soul.
(Refrain)
3. My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
(Refrain)
4. And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
the clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
even so, it is well with my soul.
(Refrain)

No me debes nada y sigues a mi lado
y estoy sospechando que me quieres;
Casi ya ocho años y aunque me conoces,
todavía estás aquí;
tú eres el tesoro que yo siempre había deseado;

just foolish behaviour

We know that to be a Christian means to become a
new person. Not just because children of God want
to be a new being, but also because a newborn
person acts in different way. Now them, today we
need to take seriously the distinction between good
and bad, see God's point of view of these small
daily things and think twice when face tough
circumstances or sin. Will you consider acting as
committed Christian before trials, temptations and
hardship? We hope so. Otherwise daily thoughts and
acts will be just foolish behaviour.

How deep the Father's love for us

How Deep (see clip on youtube)
Stuart Townend (Lauren's singing)
How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocing voice,
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that helf Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I knoww that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast inJesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

Not a matter of opinion
12/06/2007 20:00 Filed in: Encouragement
People often say about Him: 'I’m ready to accept
Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept
His claim to be God.' Today, like me many years
ago, we must make our choice. Either Jesus was, and
is, the Son of God or a lunatic. In fact, if you
believe on the first assertion, just wait to meet
Him as a judge in eternity. In another hand if you
believe that His is what He claim to be, your LORD
God and Saviour, you can fall at His feet in prayer
now and call Him Lord and God.

Saturdays and Sundays we can have extra free time
and enjoy relatives, friends, go to church etc. I

gladly today. We have this blessed opportunity to
experience another day, be alive, bless and share
life. Knows that we shall be more today, not less
than yesterday.

Michael W Smith
Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began
Above all kingdoms, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth
Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all
Above all powers...
Above all kingdoms...
Crucified...
Like a rose...

The basics of life

The basics of life (click here to hear on youtube)
4Him
We’ve turned the page, for a new day has dawned
We’ve re-arranged what is right and what’s wrong
Somehow we’ve drifted so far from the truth
That we can’t get back home
Where are the virtues that once gave us light
Where are the morals that governed our lives
Someday we all will awake and look back
just to find what we’ve lost
We need to get back
To the basics of life
A heart that is pure
And a love that is blind
A faith that is fervently
grounded in Christ
The hope that endures for all times
These are the basics,
we need to get back
To the basics of life
The newest rage is to reason it out
Just meditate and you can overcome every doubt
After all man is a God, they say
God is no longer alive
But I still believe in the old rugged cross
And I still believe there is hope for the lost
And I know the rock of all ages will stand
Through changes of time
BRIDGE
We’ve let the darkness invade us too long
We’ve got to turn the tide
Oh and we need the passion that burned long ago
To come and open our eyes
There’s no room for compromise
