Provide we pass on the test
23/06/2007 20:03 Filed in: Encouragement
Everyone who believe in God or proclaim be faithful
knows the importance of faith in daily life.
Especially when all things are well and faith is
suppose the source of such goodness. So faith is
equal to job, salary, health, wealth, family,
apparent future etc. Easy isn't it? Faith in this
context appears to be an extension of life. But
remember bad things happen with what seems to be
good people. There is a moment when this shallow
perspective faith=comfort changes. Faith is a
process, develops and grows when we learn to depend
on God.
When disaster strikes and billows see rolls in our lives we can have the rare opportunity to exercise genuine faith. An expression of trust in God, out-stand believe that knows He does not remember me yesterday, but today crossing difficulties. Our responses to God should not be based on the situation but in the assurance that He is our only God. Its well with my soul…we will remember later with joy. Provide we pass on the test.

Antonio Neal
You mean more to me than any words could say
You illuminate my path and lead the way
like a star you shine so bright that i can see your love for me
i never want to live a day without your touch
In your secret place is where i want to be
In your presence is everything that i need
You are my life, my love
(chorus)
You are the only one i need
You are the only God for me
I cannot move, cannot breathe
Unless You exhale in me
It is so sweet to know that you have drawn so close
And in return i lay my life down at your feet
Your desire is the song i want to know
You are my song, my melody
(bridge)
You are my shelter, my comfort and peace
Your words I rely on Jesus, reveal your truth in me
You're my strong tower, Your refuge I seek
Bright and morning Star, I want to be where you are
Lord,I adore you, I adore you
Lord,I adore you and I bless your name
Lord I adore you, I adore you

I don't want
22/06/2007 20:03 Filed in: Encouragement
'I don't want!' was what a heard quite early. I'm
not sure if I said it or came from her lips. Well,
doesn't matter too much the source as the feeling
and affirmation was real.
Moments like this one reminds me of two opposite feelings: selfishness and moral obligation. The first, a well-known affection by you and me, always putting in first place our own concern and welfare, disregarding others. On the other hand, you know what means moral obligation, a kind of imperative, which compels us to act against our selfishness. The moral law brought by our creator into our inner being make us to act and win in our fierce internal battle and here is the point: the most dangerous thing you can do is to take your selfishness and follow it at all costs.
Anyway, she went to do her task to help people and serve. Like a candle made to burn for many decades lighting this torn word. Touching hearts eternally.

Go light your world (click here to hear on

Kathy Troccoli by Chris Rice
There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
Make us a beacon in darkest times
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world

this virtue
21/06/2007 20:03 Filed in: Encouragement
By this virtue, love, as by all the others, God is
known. By love we're recognised as Christ's
disciples. Indeed the safest road to please God and
bless others is not wait to be loved, but endure
the hard path feel affection and act. It's worth?
Remember 'God didn't give up on you'.

Deitrick Haddon
God didn't give up on me
God didn't give up on me
When I gave up
He didn't let me go
When I messed up
He restored my soul
Oh it was God
That didn't give up
Read in the paper the other day
About a preacher who fell from grace
He begged the church for forgiveness
He realized he made a mistake
And some folks left the church and said
Your supposed to be a man of the Clock
See they forget he was the same man
That prayed for them when they were lost
So glad, God is not like men
He wont throw you away after you done wrong
He rather pick you up and dust you of
And put you back where you belong
Listen, now its easy to point the finger
When the spotlights not on you, well
And we would be surprised what we see
If the truth come out on you
And you need to show a little mercy and grace
For somebody else
And take your foot off you brother
And consider yourself
I'm glad God is not like men
When you done wrong
He will pick you and
Put you back where you belong
Never, no never, Never let me fall
When I need you
I can call you
Call you
God, Oh oh,
When I gave up
He didn't let me go
And when I messed up
He didn't give up, on me

Self-examination should be part of our daily
activities. This meek act protects us of wrong
deeds, strength discipline, shows our
inconveniences and struck us with the need to
pursue wisdom and God's mercy. Whenever I fail or
make any mistake, I'll just take in how fragile I
am. But victory is sure in Christ!

Amazing Grace (click here to hear on

John Newton (1725-1807)
By Mahalia Jackson By Tommy Emmanuel (click here to hear on youtube acoustic guitar)
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun

Raymond Badham / Hilsong
Who compares to You?
Who set the stars in their place?
You who calmed the raging seas
That came crashing over me.
Who compares to You?
You who bring the morning light,
The hope of all the earth
Is rest assured in Your great love.
CHORUS:
You are magnificent,
Eternally wonderful, glorious.
Jesus, no one ever will compare (last time to tags)
To You, Jesus.
Where the evening fades,
You call forth songs of joy.
As the morning wakes,
We Your children give You praise.
Jesus, no one ever will compare
To You, Jesus.
No one ever will compare
To You, Jesus.

Logo de Manhã quero te buscar
Tua voz ouvir teu amor sentir
Estender as mãos
Para te adorar
Derramar meu coração
Sobre o teu altar
Refrão
Pois Tu sabes bem
Tudo quanto há em mim
E vou te seguir
E te amar até o fim
E no fim do dia
Quando o sol se por
Te adorarei te darei louvor
Mesmo escura a noite
Brilha a tua luz
Em teus braços eu descanço

Living each moment in time, we are just able to
know what is happening now, remember the past and
envisage this afternoon, tomorrow, and some
foreseen future. However this sort of mental image
about future is different from what will be
reality. Mental image can be a wish, a dream,
desires, and wishes. Being quite sure that most of
us should be in the future called tomorrow I
contemplate a choice: we can face it either walking
by this kind of own mental image based in our wish
and prediction or walk by faith, by God's grace.
There's choice today.

In praising a creature, we may easily exceed the
trusth; but in praisin God we have only to go on
confessing what he really is to us. Hence it is
impossible to exceed the truth: here is genuine
praise.
