Christians are saints

The New Testament does not say that Christians must lead holy lives in order to become saints; instead, it tells Christians that, because they are saints, they must henceforth lead holy lives!

J. I. Packer TCGG p.306

the inexhaustible strength

Get tired sometimes is normal. We are human being therefore body; mind of even soul when facing

Jesus, the Son of God

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God,let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16 ESV)

hard times in life can weary for moments. But more important than rest for while to recover from our fatigue is to know what is our source of strength. Should be youth, good health? Wisdom or financial situation? Friends? Social condition? Experience? None of us should depend upon human capability or condition. Lets depend upon de LORD, the inexhaustible strength.

Here I Am to Worship

Here I Am to Worship (click here to hear on youtube)
Tim Hughes By Michael W. Smith

Light of the world,
You stepped down into darkness.
Opened my eyes,
let me see.
Beauty that made this heart adore you
Hope of a life spent with you

And here I am to worship,
here I am to bow down,
here I am to say that you're my God
You're altogether lovely,
altogether worthy,
altogether wonderful to me.

King of all days,
oh, so highly exalted.
Glorious in heaven above.
Humbly you came
to the earth you created
All for love's sake became poor.

I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
No, I'll never know how much it cost

either God rules, or he is ruled

Alternatives confront us, and between them we are obliged to choose; either God governs, or he is governed; either God rules, or he is ruled; either God has his way, or men have theirs. And is our choice between these alternatives hard to make?

Pass Me Not

Pass Me Not (click here to hear on youtube)
Frances J. Crosby
By Kenny Roby and Rob Keller

Pass me not oh gentle Savior, hear my humble cry
While on others Thou art calling, do not pass me by

Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry
While on others Thou art calling, do not pass me by

Let me at a throne of mercy, find a sweet relief
Kneeling there in deep contrition, help my unbelief

Trusting only in Thy merit, would I see Thy face
Heal my wounded, broken spirit, saved me by Thy grace

Thou the spring of all my comfort, more than life to me
Whom have I on earth beside Thee, whom in heaven but Thee?

Go hard after Christ

Distinguish what's worth from the past and what isn't is essential to grow in faith and as human being.

Christ Jesus. Our sole goal

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus.(Fhilippians 3:13-14 NIVUK).

Firstly because our human nature wants to drag us to the past, remembering our many mistakes, wrong deeds. Even after confessing it in prayer and seeking God's pardon. Secondly because we delight in blame others for our own problems and fails. Finally because this society accept and encourage us to blame others for our difficulties but not for our success. Remember the enemy within, our own flesh, and outside, this world and the devil, are alive and working today. Where do you want go now? To live on the past or press toward the goal?

Lets remember that there is not a moment out from God's mercy. And therefore our daily condition should be found is development, progress, pressing with zeal for God's glory. Go hard after Christ.

God is the most obligated being...

God is the most obligated being that there is. He is obligated by his own nature. He is infinite in his wisdom; therefore he can never do anything that is unwise. He is infinite in his justice; therefore he can never do anything that is unjust. He is infinite in his goodness; therefore he can never do anything that is not good. He is infinite in his truth; therefore it is impossible that he should lie.

Great is thy faithfulness

Great is thy faithfulness (click here to hear on youtube)
Thomas O. Chisholm & William M. Runyan
By
Jennifer LaMountain & Rudy Micelli

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

in the matter of stewardship

The fundamental truth in the matter of stewardship is that everything we touch belongs to God.

Walking by faith

We have the duty, this sense of action to go and light this world with the gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ. But we are not moving forward by an obligation. It’s a pleasure; an honour to speak out of what God has done in our lives and to be salt and light into this generation. We can see the unseen, experience God's power even under heavy thunderstorm. We are not walking by sight other than by faith.

I Am A New Creation

I Am A New Creation (click here to hear on youtube)
Dave Bilgrough

I am a new creation, no more in condemnation
Here in the grace of God I stand.
My heart is overflowing, my love just keeps on growing,
Here in the grace of God I stand.

And I will praise You Lord, yes I will praise You Lord,
And I will sing of all that You have done.
A joy that knows no limit, a lightness in my spirit,
Here in the grace of God I stand.

the story of one grand miracle

The Christian story is precisely the story of one grand miracle, the Christian assertion being that what is beyond all space and time, what is untreated, eternal, came into nature, into human nature, descended into his own universe, and rose again, bringing nature up with him. It is precisely one great miracle. If you take that away there is nothing specifically Christian left.

Via Dolorosa/The Old Rugged Cross

Via Dolorosa/The Old Rugged Cross (click here to hear on youtube)
Sandi Patti

Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on Calvary

He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death

Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King,
But He chose to walk that road out of
His love for you and me.
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem.

Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

My Heart if Filled With Thankfulness

My Heart if Filled With Thankfulness (click here to hear on youtube)
Keith Getty and Stuart Townend

My Heart if Filled With Thankfulness
To Him who bore my pain;
Who plumbed the depths of my disgrace
And gave me life again;
Who crushed my curse of sinfulness,
And clothed me with His light,
And wrote His law of righteousness
With power upon my heart.

My heart is filled with thankfulness
To Him who walks beside;
Who floods my weaknesses with strength
And causes fears to fly;
Whose every promise is enough
For every step I take.
Sustaining me with arms of love
And crowning me with grace.

My heart is filled with thankfulness
To Him who reigns above;
Whose wisdom is my perfect peace,
Whose every thought is love.
For every day I have on earth
Is given by the King.
So I will give my life, my all,
To love and follow Him.

If your treasure is on earth

If your treasure is on earth , your are going form it; if it is in heaven your are going to it.

Everything to Me (click here to hear on youtube)
Fred Hammond

My future and my history
My freedom and my liberty
My strength my joy
My life, my peace
Oh Lord You're everything to me

My flame, my light
My lamp, my heat
Brighten my path to guide my feet
Anoint my head and fill my cup
Oh Lord You're everything to me

Everything to me
Everything to me
Everything to me
Everything

When I felt lost and alone
You came and changed my story
On the pages of my life
You have revealed Your glory
Oh Lord You're everything to me

My start, my now
My close, my end
The Lover of my soul, my friend
Oh Lord You are my everything
My Father, God
My Lord and King

You heal and cause
Life to increase
You are the cure for my disease
My purpose and destiny
Oh Lord You're everything to me
